They mentioned to call them back if HTC doesn't help. Sprint said I might be able to use the Insurance on my account to get the Touch but would have to pay the $50 deductable. My reasoning is why in the hell should I have to pay $50 to be able to use a phone with a working bluetooth feature? I already paid $500 for the dam Mogul two months ago. Plus i haven't lost my phone or damaged it myself. It is a manufactures defect. I'm seriously thinking about canceling my account and going to AT&T for the Tylt. I'm tired of this run around crap. Why are they making me call HTC? Sprint had a contract with HTC for the phones so shouldn't they be the ones calling HTC to do the swap?

An instore Sprint rep actually told me the same thing, brick your phone and use your insurance and for $50 get the Touch...

I went through the same things you all did. I finally went to a different store (non-corporate) and he sent for a replacement Mogul which arrived in three days. I'm not sure I want the touch given the lack of hard keys. I'm more tempted to drop sprint altogether.

I bought my 6800 with my AMEX Gold, so I'm going to wait for 2008 to see if they comes out with a new ROM that addresses all issues. If they come out with a new Mogul that has more RAM, then I will bitch to Sprint to get Mogul 2.0 and if that fails, I will call AMEX, they will credit me the purchase amount and I'll buy a new Mogul 2.0. Gotta love AMEX! I suggest you get one if you can. They warranty everything you buy 2X what the manufacturer does. And with the sob story we all have about this phone, its a no brain-er. Also, we have till like July 2008 for 12 months from HTC expires as well! For me at least...

Well we are all not 1980's Wall Street Barons, Mr Douglas

But that sounds like a good plan. Seems that Ecare is giving everyone the run around.

When I emailed them, I got a boilerplate response that we need to run diagnostics on the phone, etc etc, they definetly didn't read that very much
