All 2.16 ROM with 1.40 Radio users with BT
 

that are not having problems with BT or rarely any disconnects. can you please post 2 things.

1) if you did or did not let the phone install the sprint customizations

2) list of programs you have installed on your mogul.


i have the 2.16 rom with 1.40 radio and my BT is still mucked up :protest:

tryin to figure out if it is a program or the sprint customizations.

Bluetooth audio is top notch and I have not noticed BT disconnecting / shutting off (only use BT for a few hours at a time while driving). I installed 2.16 and then the 1.40 radio over the 1.47 radio.

did you perform a restore after installing the radio and new ROM. I have read there are some issues with bt if you restore instead of a fresh install of everything

i did a fresh install of everything.

keep em coming! so far i see both people that have no issues stopped the sprint customizations.

so for sure i will reinstall without them tonight. hope to get more lists of programs people have as well.

2 I did not install anything since the 1.40 Radio downgrade over 1.47.But my BT connect keeps dropping out on me,especially when I put my Mogul to standby then turning it back on.One thing I didn't do but don't know if that'll make any diffrence is I did not hard reset the phone after the radio downgrade(but after the downgrade it automatically reset everything,do I need to hard reset even though it 's already set everything back to default?).

i did a hard reset after the radio downgraded flash, but as stated, i let the sprint customizations go through.

How do you stop the Sprint software from installing? I updated to the 2.16 ROM/1.40 radio and when I did a hard reset, it installed the additional Sprint software. The BT sounds better but I am still having BT disconnect problems.

When it states it is going to do customization just soft reset.

mild freeze ups mostly if i dont disconnect active-sync before i use internet sharing

only major issue i have is pie seems to suck alot of memory even after i shut it down with mem manager and i havent installed x-button yet due to testing

I did do the disable power management and BT audio hacks.

the only thing you and i have in common that the people with working bt do not is SPB programs installed

On ppc-6800 hacks, i checked improve a2dp quality - no problems so far with bluetooth - quality is definitly better with the new rom - used to have problems with cutting out - am using Jabra jx10 and motorola s9. Dod no registry hacks - also, don't know what program "radio' is but I have no listing for radio other than the Sprint music program......

Did not allow sprint customization.

Added no additional software.

Plantronics 510 headset.

Bluetooth shuts itself off at least every hour.

Bummer.....

i also have a plantronics 510 headset.

perhaps i should have asked people to post their model bluetooth headset.
