Mogul Ppc 6800..... Help Please!?!?
 

OK so I was searching for a way to increase battery life so I downloaded a
registry editorhttp://pdaphonehome.com/forums/image...on_biggrin.gif .... then I modified specific files as instructed for the PPC 6800 MOGUL. Later i discovered another website just for PPC 6700-6800s.......Triangle Powers Software. Here i downloaded the following programs:

etc.

My Ringer will only "ring". Vibrate is no longer functioning. Any ideas on how to fix this?http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/image...s/icon_eek.gif


PHOTO CONTACTS ( This was the problem!!!!)This took over the bottom button above the END button that used to be "Contacts". Now it says "photo contacts". After seeing that this program was not what I wanted I uninstalled photo contacts, but "p. contacts" still was using the button. Now I cant reassign the button to "contacts".

I know you can go into the regeditor and adjust something or some file.... if you can locate it please let me know

Best way to save battery for me.. even better than those rwg tweaks is to have you backlight to go on battery savemode in 10 seconds and always keep your backlight 1 notch up from its lowest settings. it works. It gives me at least another 3 hours.

Check this key:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\DRIVERS\BUILTIN\ALLLEDMGR]
Index:dword=0 --- change that to 1 I believe.
