Rev. A Upgrade... SEEN at Cell Site Today. NIB!
 

That's right. I have seen REV A. Today in person and talked to the contractor installing it. I'm an Electrician and by chance happen to be installing some New CAT diesel generators at a Cell site in Powhatan County, VA. So we were there inside the network room, and C-com was there installing some new Cisco routers and fiber equipment.. and I saw a manual on the guys cart that said Revision A equipment and upgrade manual. So I asked him what was up with it. He told me that they have to have all the cell sites in the Richmond, Powhatan, Northern Neck, VA Beach, and Blue Ridge operational by Dec. 31st.

This however does not mean that we will be getting Rev. A on December 31st. It really is amazing.. imagine.. a 12'x20' room with 3 racks of servers/networking equip to make it all happen. And everything at that site can be controlled at a single terminal.. or remotely.

Just thought I would share.
