short sms codes dont work for me :(
 

I have tried many times to get an sms short code to work and just cannot! for an example..the google sms trick. tou spell out something like goog411 and put what you need in the body of the sms and they send info back..also my banl has an sms short code to use to check my balance but it doesn't work on the titan..I even tried putting Zeros in front of the code to form a ten digitt number because it always comes back and tells me it needs to be a valid ten digit number..I hope this is something simple and I will feel foolish to hear the answer

I think the reason it isn't working is that you should enter the actual number instead of the mnemonic. The mnemonic is just to help you to remember the number. I just tried it with Google SMS (466453) and it works fine.

hey your comment was kind of rude man. I never said it was tech support. its a forum and a COMMUNITY..that is better than any tech support.

also I know you are probably reading all the morons on here like I do so you want to assume im dumb enough to actually dial letters? not sure I understand what you are sayingbut of course im using numbers..afaik its not even possible to dial a letter ..lol..thanks for the response though
