I was wanting to know if there is a way to stop the showing of the text message when received on the main screen . I don't like the hole text message showing up . I would like just the word message to show up .

There is something known as Privacy Mode in the Palm Threaded SMS program, but I don't know if the same option exists in the regular SMS app.

Start->Setting->Personal->Sounds & Notifications->Notifications
Select Messaging: "New Text message" and uncheck "display message on screen"
Select Messaging: "Threaded SMS" and uncheck "display message on screen" (For SMS Threaded app)
