How do you save a phone book?
I need to reset my 6800 its getting messed up, how do i save my phone book so i dont need to retype everything...
|
sync with outlook. or use a backup program like spb backup or sprite
|
Oush email and activesync contacts
I use a service from web 2 mail dot com once you sync your contacts to web2mail all you have to do after you reset is put in your username and password or install their convenient cab file.

go to file explorer the my device folder has a file called "pim" thats ur phone book and call logs just copy it to ur storage card and then replace it after you do what you need to do. I think you might have to rename it when your trying to put it back like to "pim123" and then rename it back to just "pim". Some guy at sprint told me this

when i set up a new contact i use windows live instead of outlook. it was use for me and plus you can view your contacts online
|
i use mail2web, when i hard reset, i just go into activesync, re enter my info, and it downloads all my contacts, events, calender items, everything i need, then i re-install apps.

I always had luck with Spb Backup I tried Sprite back up and its no good
also recommend ppcpimbackup for contact/call logs/emails |
ummmm
PIMbackup works great small, single executable file.
Backs up contacts, appointments, messages, and some other fun stuff. Works with WM5 and WM6. (used personally) Thanks , K, Byez! |
