Alright..I just started experiencing the phone getting really really slow after going in and out of roaming..

But I think I've got a quick fix for it..

Go into your phone connection settings and set it to "Sprint Only"..I was worried at first that in a low signal environment I might run into troubles doing this, however the phone still appears to go into digital roam even with this setting set..it does appear to stop the phone from entering analog roam, however.

So far since I set it like this the phone has been fine..you guys may want to give it a shot.

The new ROM is absolutely unusable for me. 3 DSOD's in 4 hours - with NO apps installed, BT not turned on, haven't even made any calls. A clean install, hard reset, soft reset to avoid SprintWare. About as vanilla a test as you can have - and just unusable for me!
Maybe thats the problem. Try installing it with the Sprintware. Theres a reason they put those customizations.

I've done clean installs both with and without the junkware - similar results.

The reason for the junkware, btw, is advertising and selling music, audio books, etc. - not performance. With the exception of the control panel applet, which I install manually.

Well if we could change our votes in the poll, I would change my vote from fine, to "it's screwing up".

I have noticed the Dpad stop working which is it so far, but just by that, I know that not everything is working perfectly.

Its funny I have a friend who has the same phone and every time I update my rom I tell him that a new ones out and maybe he might want to check it out.Now I spend hours a day on my phone from surfing to just messing around and it don't take long for me to see bugs but my friend makes maybe 2 phone calls a day and always fights with me that his is running great and I messed mine up on my own. This is until one weekend he spends a few more minutes on his phone and then sees that his don't work to well either then its a different story(lmao).
