Camera won't work
 

I've flashed a custom image that I made in kitchen, and I included the HTC titan camera but it won't work. It tells me that it's not signed with a trusted certificate or the component can't be found.

I want to think that this is because the unlock I did was not successful.

Would I have been able to reflash the ROM and install this custom one if the unlock wasn't successful?

So I've tried the spl 2.4 unlocker. I'm connected to WMDC and synced, i run the unlock bat file that comes with the spl 2.40, it says initializing but does nothing after it works for a few minutes...just hangs there. Nothing on the titan's screen indicates that it is unlocking or updating anything.

Hey, thanks much for the reply.. First thing is I need to get this phone to sync to an XP box, then hopefully I can reload an image. Currently I'm deadinthewater b/c I can't sync to myt laptop all of a sudden... It was weird: it synced to my vista laptop, but the image wasn't good, so I flashed another from kitchen and vista started to sync said "Connecting..." then stopped and said disconnected.. since then I haven't been able to get it synced. Hopefully doing it from my XP box, adding that package will work. Thnx again.

Not an expert here, but I did have a bad rom that locked up my phone at the splash screen. I didnt worry about syning it, (would have been impossible) just ran the kitchen, and put the phone in bootloader, "power+ camera-reset" hooked up the usb and did the burn. In bootloader the phone doesnt sync but the computer should reconize it. Worked fine for me on Vista.

Accessing the bootloader has confused me. I do the dualsoftkey+reset button, but then it asks if I want to reinstall my image, it doesn't go to the rainbow screen.

btw- I'm still getting the lack of a "trusted certificate" ERROR when trying to run certain applications, googlesearch is one

access bootloader press the power plus the camera button (both together) While holding them in press in the reset with the stylus .

Yes, that's what I've read but maybe I'm just hitting the wrong buttons. When I do that if asks if I want to reinstall the image.
