DNS Changes Won't Stick?
 

I'm currently using the Alltel WM6 OS rom, and I've tried changing the DNS settings (for faster locating), but everytime I soft reset, the servers seem to reset. Is this a superficial thing, that is, is it just saying that? Or do the DNS servers really reset, since the custom servers I set are still there when I repick the custom servers option. If so, how can I make the custom server settings stick?

Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!

Look in your startup items for something like cm guardian. That app sets DNS settings back to default. You have to kill it from the startup items and your settings should stick after that.
