27Apr11 - Data outage in Dallas
 

Just in case any of you in Dallas were wondering, there is a 4G *and* 3G data outage in Dallas. The big V is working on the problem. I thought I would save you the trouble of calling tech support since I already did that this morning. They have no ETA on the fix.
It really sucks to be on 1x and makes me thankful for LTE. :)

Just for shit and giggles try this...

• Go to the ThunderBolt’s phone dialer. Enter ##778# and hit Send.
• You’ll get a pop-up labeled EPST, with the choice to “View Mode” or “Edit Mode.” You want “Edit Mode.”
• You’ll be asked for a password. It’s 000000.
• Now flip down to “Modem Settings,” and then choose “Rev. A.”
• Change the setting from eHRPD to “Enable,” hit OK, then press the Menu button on the phone and tap “Commit Modifications.”

I lost my 3g serivces up in North East Ohio Last night And i enabled my eHRPD and I got it back...

That did get 3G back...now if I can only have my 4G back. :)

Dallas 4G just came back online...about 30 minutes shy of a 24-hour outage.
