4G Experience

Was wondering if we could post our experiences while using the phone in a 4G area. Being that this the first LTE phone I think it would be beneficial to post our experiences. Info like what area you are in? What did you download/stream/browse and what was that experience like? Like an mp3 downloaded in 10 seconds, or streamed an episode of .... no buffering. Screenshots of speedtest would be cool. Videos of actual use would be even better. Thanks guys.

That is fantastic! Man I can't wait to get mines. Being that the Mobile Hotshot is free and unl until May, has anyone tried using this connection for their PS3 or Xbox? I bet that would be wicked awesome. My Roadrunner Turbo caps out at 8 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload.

It has been great. I have been doing speed tests all over the SF/ East Bay area. Download speeds are averaging 7,000-12,000 kbps (I actually got a high of 20,000 downtown SF.)

I used the hotspot on 4G using my iPad to stream Netflix with no issues or buffering with standard def content.

I typically get over 20mbps in Atlanta, I haven't tried it with my xbox since I have an older version without wifi. I don't think it would do well considering your pings will be 3 times that of your wired hsi at home. I'm not saying it wouldn't work but your connection may not be the best compared to your competitors. It could work well for HD Netflix streaming since that has a buffer anyways. You'd have to plug in your phone while using the mobile hotspot. I get 50% off accessories and bought the extended battery. It's pretty big but well worth it if you use the phone as a utility as I do.

I'm routinely getting 12Mbps down, about 2Mbps up using the latest SpeedTest app (update about 2 days ago).
