Re: How many Tilt users do we have?

I just found I had to install the "remove hidden proxy" cab in \windows, reset, and then I could access the internet via the 3G network in apps like funambol - PIE worked fine without that cab installed.

Re: How many Tilt users do we have?

I really wish the tilt worked on the sprint network. It seems like a really nice ppc.

it'll fit nearly perfect, but the beauty of both models is that you can also remove the SIM card without removing the battery as well. plus i'm prepped in advance for the Jamaican vacation and all i gotta do is go to an AT&T store and get that Kaiser 120 activated for data only. then i'll mod it out after i get it back from my cousin, cause he always wanted to experience a euro model for his first time.

Let's get a few things straight.

First of all Verizon doesn't have the mogul it has the XV6800.

This is a PPC website but the majority of it's users are Sprint and Verizon customers.

The Mogul is a great looking device. Much better than the XV6800 and a hell of a lot better than the Cingular/ATT 8525 ever looked.

And last but not least while the Tilt may have more memory and a faster processor, the fact of the matter is 3G isn't is nearly as wide available as Sprint or Verizon's EV-DO, because no matter how much memory you have any of us will still be able to get to that web page or download that file much faster for the most part.

and one thing you're overlooking is AT&T's 3G network is pretty much worldwide despite how much broadband coverage they give up in the states. and also note that i have a euro tilt (Kaiser 120) which is better than that of any Pocket PC in the states with not only HSDPA, but also UMTS enabled. and finally, if you wanna know why the american dollar is weak, then i'll feel free to tell ya. lol

Ha Ha are you kidding me? Do some research and come back to me. I was confused when I only had 5 posts as well.

I know it's gonna work wherever Sprint's EvDO doesn't, but i may wanna get AT&T for data only and use another pre-paid regionall SIM for voice. i also have some time to get my Passport next day, all i gotta do is pay more. then maybe i'll consider going to Brazil the next time the ultimate parade of beautiful women comes around.
