GREAT IM Messaging Application
I know that the Imagio came with a default application with MSN, Yahoo and AIM. However, I didn't like them all that much. They were a little bugy to me and I got charged for the IM's. But now, no longer.
I have Google Chat, AIM, MSN, Yahoo all running and running VERY!!! well. The application is called Palringo. Uses MINIMAL memory, FAR!!! less then default application, and it incorporates Google Maps/Latitude. Give it a try if you're wanting something new/better. http://www.palringo.com/en/us/download/ Bryan |
Re: GREAT IM Messaging Application
The application itself works pretty well, but it had a lot of trouble logging into my accounts. And it doesn't group my contacts.
I'm using ebuddy, with java. |

Palringo doesn't exit either. I can hold the X but it still runs in the background.

Re: GREAT IM Messaging Application
Has anyone else noticed that when this program is running the phone doesn't automatically go into lock mode? I noticed after I installed this prog. I diabled it and my phone lock automatically again, is there a fix for this, I really liked this app.

Re: GREAT IM Messaging Application
I've been using Palringo almost since I got the phone and I like it alot. I tried a couple others (most notably, Nimbuzz, which was a crashy mess) but ended up sticking with Palringo.

(Un)fortunately I have not had the lock mode problems others have reported here so I don't have a quick fix for that. |
