Real Compass Hardware?????
 

Does anyone know if our Imagios have "real compass hardware"???

i'm trying to get this nice compass app on my phone but as i read about it they keep saying if you don't have the "real compass hardware" it won't work. I understand exactly what they mean but I can't figure out if we have it or not. I think the TP2 does? So if anyone could let me know I would appreciate it. I don't want to downlaod anything that may screw the phone up.

I honestly do not know for sure, but I would guess not. I'm sure if the hardware was in there, there'd be some sort of app or something touting that fact.

Thanks but i couldn't wait any longer and went ahead and installed that app. DON'T DO IT. It doesn't work and now i still have it in my App list even after the un-install. I don't know if it was due to the fact that we don't have the proper hardware or if tthe cab was made for a different phone.
Does anyone know how to get rid of it? that happened to me once before and another app but i was able to find and remove from the registry. I can't find anything on this one. I even have Resco and did a search which came up with nothing. Is there a trick or something??? i'm not as good as you guys.

hard reset and start over. next time do a sprite backup before installing anything new

sorry for sounding harsh...i'm just coming off doing the same myself and it's a royal PITA. do the backups.

Thanks but how do i get to memory???? registry????
