Re: Imagio Battery Life Issues = Solved
Thank you for the post. I will certainly try your switching off GSM suggestion.
Noob question (perhaps) but why did she give you a replacement battery for free? And let you keep the one that shipped with it? I'm new to Verizon - is this something automatic? |
Re: Imagio Battery Life Issues = Solved
The original battery he got was a dud and wouldn't fully charge. That happens with lipo batteries sometimes. She let him keep the one he had because Verizon had no need for a "bad" battery. He just uses it as a short life spare now would be my guess.

Re: Imagio Battery Life Issues = Solved
bingo.
normally thats what u do when u call, but remember it NEVER hurts to ask! (actually... it never hurts to ask in person. AFA asking on the phone remember... your call is next to never recorded but notes are taken by reps; notes that will not only stay with you, but are likely to be quick-read within 30 seconds of the rep being connected to you - so it helps to be friendly :P ) |
Re: Imagio Battery Life Issues = Solved
Prolonging your battery life [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\Battery] "PollInterval"=dword:4E20 (hex) or 20000 (decimal) Default is 5000 (decimal) |
Re: Imagio Battery Life Issues = Solved
What does this registry edit change? I know it's changing something related to the battery but does this change will undermine the performance of the phone?

Re: Imagio Battery Life Issues = Solved
Is there some other mode to get to the phone network modes - I don't seem to have the same settings menu as in the E-Mail.
