Change TF3D Weather Update Interval
 

Hello all, I am very new here and did my searching before posting. I have dug through the registry for about an hour and could not find anything that seemed to be related to the time interval for the weather to update. It seems the default is about every three hours. I would love to be able to change this to about every 30 minutes.

Any clues?

I third this. I got up this morning and it had not been updated in 5 hours. I like to get up and look at the weather where I am.

on settings -> today -> items there is a dropdown "today timeout" i am wandering if that is the timer that refreshes the today screen?????

That option determines how long, if ever, it takes for the phone to revert back to the today screen from whichever program/screen it's currently in.

there should be an option for you to be able to set when you want it automatically updated, i.e. 30 mins, 1 hr.

I really hope there is a fix out there for this. Someone please find it.

This looks interesting, looks to allow update interval specification and is tested and working on Verizon TP2 with stock ROM. My only beef is that I'm not interested in running the theme.

I am really hoping that someone has a fix for this. It can become really bothering when your on a long road trip and it doesn't update your city either until you manually go into the weather tab and hit update.

I will spend another hour or two on it this weekend, but I am new to the smart phone thing. All I am really doing is using Total Commander to manually search the registry. I have just search for things that look relevant, but perhaps I will be more thorough this weekend.
