how to get to Speed Dial on phone app?
 

I'm missing something obvious: what's the fastest way to get to my speed-dial list when in Phone? I'm having to go to the menu etc. - too many clicks. Isn't there a single button somewhere that can take me to the speed dial list?

Well if you have the dialer/keypad open it's just Menu > Speed Dial. There's probably another way to map a button or soft key to it but I haven't checked into that yet. By chance are you using SPB MS3.5?

I'm not using MS3.5; yeah, I've been using the Menu -> speed dial, but it's awkward, and worse, when I hit the one I want to call, it first puts me into a menu where I can edit or delete it, and I have to exit that, to actually see a "dial" button. Maybe there's a skin for the phone that would make this easier?

I don't have any speed dials setup since I dial from Favorites in SPB MS3.5 but have you tried maybe memorizing your speed dial list? If ya did that then all ya gotta do is open your dialer then press and hold the speed dial number rather than scroll through your speed dial list. I dunno just throwing out suggestions lol, I don't know of a quick fix for ya using the stock dialer. Other options would be perhaps iDialer/iContact or Resco Contact Manager. I believe those allow you to assign what get's opened when you press the green Send/Call button.
