Location Based Weather
 

I added MS and like the flexibility it affords over TF3D, however, the weather app native to TF3D utilized an auto local weather app. Ms embedded weather does not update to local weather. Any ideas on how tho get this done...

cool. we can use all the chefs we can get over here.
we can only hope cmonex is now a master at cdma global device unlocking and will have something for us before too long. that is as long as the tp2 mob doesn't piss her off too much.

If BW and BGill don't get Imagios and cook, I'm exchanging mine for a Storm 2 (j/k - although I am going to look at a Storm 2 tomorrow).

Mot sure if Elecont Weather will work, it's not free but it's what you are looking for.

Elecont isn't location(GPS) based. You have to punch in a zip code, according to there discription. The op was looking for a non TF3D location based weather.

gpstoday has location based weather. I used to use that on my omnia and it can also keep your gps active for you.

They are free but i think now you have to sign up with them.. dunno if it works on the imagio.. I may try it if i stop using tf3d

New IMAGIO - weather My Location is a number now?
 

I think my question falls under this thread.. New IMAGIO and overall all default other than TCruz Mega Cab for COLOR! VERY nice work (espicially combining all the cabs into one!) and BTW - THANK YOU! Now however, I dont know if its related to the cabs, but now I see the Weather My Location on the home screen is a number?? Started as 9 but after a weather updsate changed to 8. It seems accurate but no city name. I have added My actual city using the accuweather city updater cab and thats fine. Shows accurately if i select it. I can live with it - but just curious why it now shows a number.. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

No responses on this but I think I answered my own question. Checking weather from work - New Orleans.. the "My Location" changed to New Orleans as expected.. cool. Got back home and next update using the "my location" still and it changed back to 8. Hmm. My actual home location is obviously not coming up automatically. swithching to the manual entry for my location and weather was correct and matched the 8. Guess if it cant auto locate where you are it displays a number?? Oh well just note the GPS icon in the location spot and im ok with it..
