Wallpaper Question/Issue
 

I recently put on my phone some 480 X 800 pictures, which are on my mini SD card. When I set any of them to be my wallpaper, they do not look as clear as when I just view the actual picture. In other words if I view them as phtos they look awesome. When I set them to be my background on my homescreen the look fuzzy, and not as clear and defined as when I just view them. Anyone else have this issue?

I was looking at the stock pictures a little while ago because I was having the same problem, and I realized they encoded them in 1200x2000, not 480x800. I re-made the pictures I was trying to use (upconverting them might work as well,) and they then looked perfectly fine when set as the wallpaper. I'm not sure why this is, but it seems to work.

How did you "reencode" them? I am just curious because I would like to have some really good looking walls.
