Asurion replacement

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone has tried to have asurion replace their imagio lately. I just am trying to determine if they have any in stock, and if not, what they are replacing them with.

Thanks for the help,
Brian

I would like that information as well because 3 out of the 5 buttons do not work and need to make a decision which way to go.

I had same problems, all buttons didn't work. I took my phone to service and they repaired it, but one button is broken again :(

You guys can just go on the Asurion site and do the process of replacement online, then right before you approve the replacement and pay the deductible it will give you the phone that will be sent to you. Then if you don't want it just cancel. I did that back when I had the tp and wanted to know if they would replace it with the tp2 and I knew before I placed the order.
You can also call them and ask them, its just sometimes you'll get an idiot that might not know anything.

well i just called. they told me that the stuck buttons are user damage.( i would disagree, if all the phones have this issue, i think that the problem is a munufacture issue) So they offered me an Samsung Omnia II. I think that a uyear ago it would have been a good choice but now, for $50, i think ill just put it towards a new trophy sinse the omnia is 3 years old now.

Sounds like a good plan. I hope it works out well for you there!

You can always see if they are willing to give you a different comparable phone. Otherwise find out what it sells for on Ebay and see if its worth it to pay the deductible and then resell it and get a phone you do want. Remember a new or refurbished phone can sell for a good amount on Ebay or craigslist.
