I was complaining about my touchscreen not responding anymore and lo and behold it was the screen protector that I've had on it for the longest. I removed it and it started working right away.. lol.. smh..

Ok, maybe it wasn't just the screen protector.. still having problems. It worked for like an hour now it's not working again..

Try the tape trick.
Get some packing tape and put it over the screen and push it on real good then pull it off and try.
Ultimately, you need to replace the digitizer/lcd combo.

interesting.. I will try that. My Droid X2 is already on the way though.
