GPS CoPilot work w/o service?

Does Copilot work on an Imagio without cell service?

Yes. It uses data only for the live services --- local searches, active traffic, live weather, live link to friends, etc. For regular routing and saved POIs, it uses the GPS chip and not the cell network.

Mine works fine in the Airplane (in flight) mode. What are you smoking?

Yeah, it won't work at all if the device is turned off :evil4:
But if only the phone portion is off, CoPilot still functions.

Well excuse me! All that I ever use is TomTom & it will not work when the phone is in flight mode.

Copilot works for me even in flight mode. Please check if your Imagio is picking up satellites in the flight mode using GPSViewer (included with Energy ROM, should be downloadable for other ROMs). If it is, then there may be a setting in Tom Tom to enable you to use the software in flight mode.
