on a better note my last imagio (refurb/replacement) has a 6/2010 build date vs several priors all dated 11/2009 or 12/2009 and the buttons have a slightly different feel than my other imagios. maybe it's just because none broke in 3-4 weeks LOL. |

Or, dial ##778, click on View and see the Manufacturers Date near the bottom of the resulting list.

Re: Changed to Omnia 2
First rule...never go to a store to do this. Always call customer service on the phone. They are able to do more and are trained better than reps in stores.

Re: Changed to Omnia 2
Well, the "TOOL" here has had a great Omnia 2 for a month now and all I can say is that it's a much better phone that the Imagio.
I guess I'd rather be a tool, have my O2, and at least not sit around whine about how nothing can be done with a phone that has an obvious design defect. At least that's my take on it. Flame away..... |

Re: Changed to Omnia 2
The blind leading the blind.
FYI when you call VZW customer service you'll get the good cop / bad cop routine. First they'll seem to placate you and appear willing to oblige then when you think you're satisfied they will transfer your case to tech where you start again at step-1 with the bad cop. You see this is where the decision is actually made and these people are trained to politely beat you down without care or mercy. Going into the VZW store is a better tactic actually especially if the phones are in stock. The store managers have more wiggle room actually. Still not much but more than calling 611. |
