Energy Rom freezes after long use?????
 

Ok so i've been using the energy rom for quite some time now, but it seems no matter which update i apply after about a week or 2 of usage it slows to a crawl, but once i reinstall wiht a new rom image everything works great for a little while, does anyone know why this is happening? or anyone else have this issue?

I have tried rebooting multiple times, both hard and soft reset

energyrom is great but it is packed with a lot.... your phone may not be able to handle it.
energyrom is getting newer and the phone is getting older

yes but that doesnt account for the phone working and being very reesponsive for 2 weeks, and then dieing out. it has done this with the last 3 roms i have tested for this issue.

they all do. things just pile up in windows. at least its not the stock rom, which lasts about 36 hours (even clearing memory b/c of the memory leaks).

overclock your phone! nrgy fliiiies!

Actually the stock ROM is heaps more stable than Energy's. That's why I sooo wish that there was a vanilla ROM available. I'd love to have a 235xx based ROM that had absolutely no extra applications or modifications whatsoever. Let me customize and install what I want to install, and nothing else.

The last Energy ROM I installed was the 21908.Sense2.5.Cookie.DinikGlass.Jul.10 version. I haven't had one lock up on my phone since. It has worked great and is quite responsive. I still have the memory leak issue so I do soft reset it about every other day. I'm still using it, though I'm using MS3.5 as my UI instead of Sense now.

In my experience the better NRG roms are the ones without Cookies Home Tab. But once you've gotten used to Cookie it's hard to not use it. The Sense 2.1 July 14 build is the fastest of his that I have experienced and is very close to stock.
