So i was in the microsoft market place today, and saw this thing called "SPB Shell" and i guess it's a shell that replaces TF3D, i was wondering. Has anyone ever used it? and is it worth the money for it?

Re: spb shell questions
Tried bare windows & SPB for a couple weeks in January. It's OK, but not really worth it. Sense 2.5 > tf3d > nekkid windows > SPB

Re: spb shell questions
Yeah, just try it for a couple weeks free. It's a personal preference thing whether you like it or not.It does use less resources(RAM)than tf3d tho. Get it from the spb site and if you don't like it for any reason after purchase they have a $$ back no questions guarantee. They are very good to do business with..:headbang:.... Unlike some others I could name:protest:

Re: spb shell questions
Been using SPB Mobile Shell for years. I am on my 4th replacement Imagio because of the buttons breaking, but on my 1st Imagio I put Mobile shell on and my phone wigged out. Had to hard reset. My second Imagio had no problem with it. SPB Mobile Shell is another UI. You can choose between TFlo, Windows Mobile, Today screen and Mobile Shell. Today screen used the least memory, TFlo uses the most.

Re: spb shell questions
I also have to give a "+1" for SPBMS. I am running energy ROM, and really like it, and all the tweaks for the sense, but I have gone back to SPBMS, as I just can't seem to hit the target first try on the sense slider with my thumb. I am always having to slide back and forth a couple of times to get to the app I want.
I am currently using a WM7 theme for SPBMS, and it is awesome! Huge buttons, and all my shortcuts right where I need them. I like tapping buttons versus sliding that slider. YMMV... Gary |
