if all else fails email HTC drectly. they're highly likely to give you a phone since it's under warranty.

I dropped mine, lol... that definitely voids any warranty the phone has.

ive taken them back before with obvious user damage. had a cousin with an imagio take one back with dents on the side, some scratches & one corner of the screen peeling up.

i really dont know why the warranty would be voided.

I just got my phone replaced (stuck buttons). The rep told me if there was any obvious damage to the phone it would not be covered by warranty.

I am pretty sure a broken screen would be an indicator that I was responsible for the damage and that it was not a manufacturer's defect.
