My Location not updating?
 

Ive searched Google and couldn't find a answer to this. Im running Energy.IMAGIO.23563.Sense2.5.Cookie.HomeTab.Apr.20 and every time i try to update the weather it just sits n then says no weather data available? Even on Google maps it says location temp unavailable? Anyone have any ideas? I first thought gps is bad but im a noob and not sure how to tell if the gps test is good or bad? :confused:

Are services cll and htc geo service running. Check using dotfred taskmanager

Soft reset your phone. Mine had trouble updating weather earlier today. It was fine after a soft reset.

My phone stopped updating too.
I may have messed up some of the registry keys in HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\

Could someone post their settings for the keys that start Weather

I checked and the services are running. My location is turned on and i have also have done soft and hard reset but still nothing. Even tried hard reset and a new ROM :???: I assuming that my gps is working seeing the test said it started up and was running??

***Try this*** __Important__: if you show 1X forget it.. it won't work... you have to have 3G. Anyway, I was having the same problem and all I did was go to the Start Menu and open the GPS folder. Run the QuickGPS app and check-mark **Download Satellites Automatically**// QuickGPS will tell you if the location on your phone is off, if so, it'd prompt you to turn it on just by clicking "On" (or something like that) then click on Download (at the botton) and let it do its thing. Then go to Google Maps and make sure you click on Menu>>options and click on use GPS.. that fixed my problem and once my location was on.. I was able to get my weather info. Hope it helps :)

Thanx. Tried all that and am able to get my location with Google maps and Bing but weather still doesn't find my location. Could it possible that the problem isn't my phone and just where im pulling the weather data from?

Ya both are running.. No clue what the issue is??
