Marketplace apps now install to SD
 
Apparently the latest version of Windows Marketplace allows you to install programs to your storage cards, and not just the phone. Just an FYI.

I tried it. Deleted the original Marketplace from my phone, downloaded and installed the (theoretically) new one. Progams still install to the device memory with no option to install to card, at least the ones I tried. :scratch:

Just wondering if you knew that you have to go into the settings and change the settings from main memory to storage card? It will not ask you when you install, "Where do you want this?" You have to tell it in the settings before you install anything. But even then- I have some that still install to main memory.

and how do you go into the settings of marketplace without having it installed? you can do it when you finish installing...

you install market place, then go into the settings in the marketplace prgram, so that when other programs are installed via the marketplace, they will be put on the SD card. I imagine that some of the programs would not allow you to put them on the sd card even if the option is checked.
