Attached here is my No weather Background cab.
It removes the background shading in portrait and landscape.
It also removes the lines in landscape but not in portrait, as I think it looks worse without them in portrait.

I have also attached a No Calendar Background Cab for 2011 and 2012.
This one will remove the black background from the calendar in portrait and landscape also.

Initial cab was 2 seconds.

rawdikrik's 2.5.2012 Manila Album + Resco Album Hack...
Please READ THIS CAREFULLY... Its self explanatory.

Okok... I use Resco Photo manager... and really hate the HTC Album to view pics. At the same time... I do REALLY enjoy my album tab and dont want to get rid of it. Here I get the best of both worlds.

If you click on the photo in the picture tab, it will open in Resco photo album. Immediately. That easy.

Ok... here are the ground rules:

1: You must have Sense 2.5.2012 installed... this is the version that most chefs are using so u should be fine.

2: U must have Resco Photo Manager installed to the phone memory (NOT THE STORAGE CARD) in the default spot (most of you will)

3: Unzip the file, Copy the file into your windows Directory (using total commander, resco, or Sktools) and then reset.

If you use this and it works, I dont want money or anything... I want 2 things from you guys. Help each other out by typing which ROM it worked on so other people can know... and Hit me up with some thanks so I can get my rep up!

Maxtcee, would you mind posting the cab for removing the background bars at the top and bottom? (where the taskbar and the soft buttons are at the bottom).

you are talking about the top and bottom bars right ?
or do you mean the actual taskbars?
are you using 2.5?

Yes I am using 2.5..yes, the bars..the task bar itself I've already changed using tsowen's taskbars but I can't get rid of the black background.

That's odd. I don't think I had this issue with the previous version of 2012 (mar. 3 or 4 version). I have the Mar. 8 version (which so many have had issues with). I have HD walls at home and will see if that works to get rid of this problem. Will let u know if I still have issues you can resolve. Thanks so much! :)

The taskbars do not have anything to do with Sense, they are from windows. When you say you want them clear, that is not possible. What HDwalls does, is take part of you background image (the top and the bottom) and make separate images. Those images then replace the taskbar and softbar images from whichever theme you are using (most likely vzw since they are black) this is what gives it a "clear" look. Hopefully this cleared some things up.
