CHTEditor - Co0kie's Home Tab Editor

Update 21-Feb-2010
I've added a folder treeview for exporting and importing settings, rather than saving them to the root of the storage card, which didn't always work.

Here is Co0kie's Home Tab Editor, for editing the settings for Co0kieMonster's most excellent home tab mod.

With this application you can modify all the settings for the mod without having to open a registry editor, as well as being able to export & import all your settings and quicklinks, in case you need to hard reset or flash a new ROM.

This is a work in progress and will continue to be developed in-line with Co0kieMonster's home tab mod, including any extra settings that are added along the way. With this in mind, it will only work with the correct verison of Co0kieMonster's mod, and if you try to run it against a different version then you'll be given an error telling you to check back here for a newer version of this application.

Features list:
  • Change the settings without a registry editor
  • Export and import settings and quicklinks
  • Remove dead quicklinks
  • Restarts manila for immediate changes
The application has been tested thoroughly and found to be stable for WM6.5. There is an issue when automatically restarting Manila in WM6.1, but you get a friendly error message telling you about it.

To be implemented in future releases:
  • Better file dialogs that allow you to browse your device memory and sub-folders.
  • Add same file dialog to export and import functions so you can choose where to save your export file and where to load it from.
  • Update the controls that are currently difficult to use (appointment range slider and application panels).
If you find any problems, please post and let me know, unless it's one of the above mentioned issues that I'm already planning on fixing.

Other than that, go enjoy your newly modded home tab http://forum.xda-developers.com/imag...lies/smile.gif

Update 20-Feb-2010
I've changed the application picker for the alarm, calendar and call history applications.
It's now a list of everything in your start menu, rather than the standard .Net open file dialog, which is somewhat lacking.

I've also fixed the "Number of days to look ahead", which wasn't updating, despite the value being changed and stored succesfully.

Here is a new home screen alignment with a smaller clock.
This way you can see 3-4 appointments (depends on Call History) and your quicklinks.

theres 2 backrounds do you want completely clear
if so you will need the remove flip tabs cab and no clock backround cab

remove flip tabs = removes the white tabs on the clock
no clock backround = removes the black around the clock which is on the first post of this thread

NEW COLOR THEMES FOR 2012

Colored Themes for Manila 2.5
Build 2012 only

http://i45.tinypic.com/30wrtvp.jpg http://i45.tinypic.com/sb0oq0.jpg http://i47.tinypic.com/1t0gg6.jpg

http://i45.tinypic.com/2i7a49f.jpg http://i46.tinypic.com/k1bfuq.jpg http://i46.tinypic.com/hriwc9.jpg

Soon to come:

Blue Theme
Pink Theme
Black Theme

These themes are very light weight. I added just enough color so as not to loose that stock look and feel. Each theme will come with a few hand picked wallpapers. As of right now, I am not building a custom .tsk for each theme, nor will you find a matching dialer. I may add these later, but the first theme took me about 8 hrs. Now that I have everything setup I am hoping to cut that in half for the rest.

The rest of the Themes will follow soon. I'll try to add one per night until they are done but no guarantees.

Manila files are CFC compressed so make sure your ROM supports this. If it doesn't, request your chef's next release does. Not only does it give you more available space, there is a substantial performance increase. I will start a list of ROM's that are compatible in post #2. A non CFC compressed version of each theme will be available soon.
