i though was the red bottom at the backside of the phone but o press it n came up the same all the cabs i had install so what im doing wrong?

Soft Reset and hold the Send + End keys (oops and Vol Down) and you should get the prompt to do a factory reset.

Power off, then press volume down + then send and end keys. Follow the on screen instructions.

Yes, the Green button, the Red button and the Volume down. Press them all together and don't let go until you have instructions on the screen (after all the colors go away). Then just follow the instructions, it is really easy.

Also "Settings/Systems/Memory/Clear storage will hard reset phone

yup, much easier. especially because I'm scared of pressing the Imagio hardware buttons as they inevitably will all be broken soon

Had my phone since October and the buttons still work fine. I guess some people are unlucky.

A " HARD" reset is done via the "Control Panel". You have to go to Settings > All Settings > System > Memory > Clear Storage.

This will prompt you to enter "1234" in a box and then you will reset the phone to factory settings.
