TouchPro 2/Imagio Compatible?
 

Just a quick simple question..Can the registry tweaks and hacks for the touch pro 2 work on the Imagio without causing problems? I went to the tp2 forums and got a couple registry tweaks i like that i havnt seen around here. Installed them, havnt any real problems yet. For awhile I wasnt able to call anybody because "I had no service" even though id have full bars and i could still text and get calls. Id get a message at the top of the screening saying it could not connect and to check the number blah blah blah...Rebooted the phone and now it works again. All The commands in the registry were the same as in the Imagio and found them quickly so im guessing it wouldn't do any damage. All windows 6.5 right? Thanks

The TP2 (at least from verizon) originally shipped with winmo 6.1.

The TP2 from Us Cellular has 6.5.

In Short, Yes some things are compatible.. while others will cause issues. Sooo all you can do is test them out for yourself.. that is basically what people have been doin in this forum.. posting things that they gathered from the tp2 forum and tested (although there has been lots of independent editing/tweaking work done for the imagio too)

Edit** Always remember to back up anything you don't want to lose when installing files/tweaks, regardless if they are for your device or not.. Its ALWAYS better to play it safe and have a backup.
