iPhone headset works with Imagio?
 

Does anyone know if the iPhone headset (the one that allows you to push to take calls) works with the Imagio? The main reason I like this headset is because its lightweight, the mic part doesn't weight a ton like the others (thus weighing down the right ear), and the earbuds fit nicely.

If there is a better substitute do let me know.

Just tested the iPhone headset and found that all the functions work (audio, volumn, and answer calls with the mic button) but they cannot hear me! For some reason, is the iPhone headset only compatible with iPhone? It seems like it could be universal.

Does anyone know of a comparable substitute? Thank you.

i dont have the offical headset, but i do have a genaric iphone headset works perfect for me.

the mic on the apple headset didnt work on my imagio either. then I bought the vmoda faze and they are awesome !!

Does the mic on the vmoda faze work on your Imagio? And does the mic button on the vmoda faze allow you to switch between calls/music?

What is the generic iphone headset and where did you get it? Do all the functions (mic, call/music button, volume) on that work with your imagio?

Yes the mic does work. I haven't used it extensively but people on the other end say it seems to sound fine. The mic button does work. You can use it to play/pause music, voice command, and answer/ignore calls.

Overall quality i would say its pretty great. Pick up a pair and see if you like em, if not bring em back : )
