Memory is allocated into blocks, each block is basically a space to store information. Sometimes you get a bad block that can not be written to or read from. Same thing happens on hard drives.

Com... I have a fone that's going back to verizon within a day or 2 due to the end and return key not clicking, if you need me to flash a rom let me know ASAP and PM me the download for testing..... If not i look forward to your updates :-)
