I would love to move that slider down! How does that work? |
Re: Black Lock Slider
Yea I'd love to get it near the bottom for easy one handed unlocking.

Re: Black Lock Slider
i would love to move the lock button down but i am just not comfortable renaming and messing with files. Is there a cab file for this?
|
Re: Black Lock Slider
Not that I know of. I typically install the Dusk Lockscreen as it seems to look the best graphically. But a lot of people use S2U2 which I think basically does the settings changes that everyone's looking for - plus some extras.
|
Re: Black Lock Slider
I have read that the dusk theme stuff screws up the imagio. I have seen the s2u2 mentioned on here as well i just have not seen the cab to install that either. Guess i will look for that.
Thanks not sure what all the QVGA and what other letters that there are mean. Or which our device is. |
Re: Black Lock Slider
yeah - the Dusk them overall seems to have some issues when trying to uninstall it. Seems to corrupt Windows files on uninstalling. Not sure about the lock screen though.
S2U2 can be found here: http://s2u2.ac-s2.com/ |
Re: Black Lock Slider
which one do you download. This is where i get confused there is a bunch of different options and things that say mirror, QVGA? the screen shots have more that the lock slider, does that all come with it? This is usually were i shut down and just dont try anything. unfortunatly i can install a basic cab file and only if i see that someone shows a screen shot of exactly what it will looks like or tells exactly what it does. I realize this limits me to what i can tweak but that is the reality. Thanks for the info.

thanks for posting that link yatman, to make it easy replace the file i am linking here with your native file in the windows directory (copy your original so you can replace it if you dont like it) and there you go , on the bottom, i found this file in that link section, only slides like the iphone from left to right but any changes can be made to the file to move its location.
if anyone comes up with a better looking location, post it up, id love to see it |
Re: Black Lock Slider
So Installed the Dusk lockscreen and using G-Config, I have to admit, it looks great in portrait AND landscape. I suggest trying it for anyone that's willing to take the risk. I am going to uninstall to see if it reverts back to the original default locksetup. I will report back with my findings.
|
Re: Black Lock Slider
Ok - so the problem with uninstalling the dusk lockscreen is that I think when it installs it overwrites the original windows files. So when you uninstall, it deletes everything so that the lock screen ends up being the classic windows mobile lock screen. The only recourse is to reinstall the dusk screen or if someone has a cab to recover the original lockscreen.
If not, it's backup and reformat time. I'm sending an email to gregorz - the guy that created the dusk theme - to let him know and see if he has a workaround to restore the factory lock screen. |
Re: Black Lock Slider
I found these cabs which I think is JUST to move the slider to the bottom:

Re: Black Lock Slider
Ya I moved my slider to the bottom and love it! There is a cab to do this. My main computer is down right now or I would post it but I'm sure someone will be along that has the link.

Re: Black Lock Slider

Any problems noticed? |
Re: Black Lock Slider

|
Re: Black Lock Slider
Thank you! I appreciate your help.
Installed it and it works just wondering if you can move it around or if it just moves it to the bottom? Keith Black Slider lock is awesome! |

ran across this slider and a few others, add a little more flare and work well, if you installed the black slider and want to try these, uninstall the black one and then install these.
here is the site link that contains several others: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=620928 |
Re: Black Lock Slider

I think in installing his lockscreen to the memory card, it basically doesn't work as intended but it does extract his sliders so I can use those to start from. I really like that glass look of his slider. Appreciate the lesson. |
