Updated 2/6/2010Added more stuff into the consolidated cab. Check post 20, 21, 36 for a list and the updated cab. Picture below is from cab in post 36. Post 36 added color contacts icons.

Well I didn't like having to install a whole list of cabs just to clean up and color my phone so I consolidated a group of them together. It worked on my phone but I did not hard reset first. I have two versions attached. The first version has everything listed but the taskbar. The V2 has the taskbar icons in it but you have to install sdkcerts first. Here's what I have in it.

Disable TF3D before installing.

Communications screen colored icons (created by brent372)

Settings screen colored icons (created by brent372)

No top or bottom curtains (original cab was by PuriaNs)

No logo (Original cab by CMYLXGO)

Transparent flip clock (Don't remember they were just manilla files in zip)

Clean home screen (no calendar etc. - unless you actually have an appointment like in the pic, where I do)(original cab by pegasus)

Enable in call recording (don't remember it was reg entry)

Safe inbox extender (original cab by kPen)

Colored Icons (original cab by pjsocket)

Color taskbar (Version2 - install sdkcerts first for this one) (With working 3g icon)(original cab by tsowen and kd)


Again thanks to all that created the individual cabs, I just repackaged them into one! Hope this will be helpful to some.

It worked for me, but I'm just not digging the purple slider. Can I install a different slider and not totally screw it up?

Yes, sorry about that, its just one file that gets replaced. I have a purplish theme going on so I dropped it in. I guess I could have left it with the blue one.

Here are a few to choose from:
Stock blue slider
Silver
Purple
blue outline like the purple one already in the cab


And again these are not mine (except the purple ones) just recabed by me.

I like these sliders a lot. Especially, the silver one. My only problem with the sliders I've seen floating around is that they don't change the htc contacts page. I wonder why that is?

I did give credit, or at least attempted to. In the first post I said I did not create the cabs just repackaged them into one so people would not have to install 15 different cabs to achieve one result. A colored Imagio. Brent I think you did an excellent job with the icons you made; otherwise I would not have put them on my device. I had downloaded many, many cabs and picked through the ones I liked. I honestly wish I could remember who they all came from and give proper credit upfront by listing the names of the creators, but I can't remember from where I gathered them all.

Great job collecting all these cabs I now have a color Imagio. Calm down everyone gave credit where credit was due... btw is that u on the wallpaper in ur first post. If it is lookin good!!!! :mrgreen:

Just many people on here and XDA ask for donations..
I don't.
I just ask that credit is given where it is due.
I have no problem with people using the cabs however they want.
(if I had a problem with this, I would have passowrd protected them so they couldn't be torn apart)...

Not to hard. Used cecab manager and extracted the contents I wanted and added them to a new one making sure that any duplicates would have the one I wanted added last.

This is all your fault Keith! You keep showing up with too much cool stuff.

OK made some changes based off the laskarface theme.
I liked the HTC quietly brillant that Keith made so I dropped it in the softkey bar.

This all started with the theme that Keith is working on based from the laskarface them. I really liked the slider from it so I dropped it in my consolidated cab. Well that got me to thinking about the tabs. I went to XDA and saw what all the laskarface theme had in it and incorperated some items into the consolidation. I added the highlighted outline around the tabs, added the semi transparent taskbar and softkey bar, with with outline, and the lock screen.

If you like the screen shots then this should help with all those reinstalls after a hard reset. Remember that sdcerts from post 1 is needed.

How did you move the "Quietly Brilliant" logo to the soft key bar?

Those two bars are just .png picture files. The top is vzw_black_taskbar.png and the bottum is vzw_black_softkeybar.png located in the windows folder.

I just copied the HTC QB from Keiths cab and photoshoped it in. If you want the top and bottom bars like I have them I will put them in an cab for you.

Wow... Thank you for an exceptional job consolidating all of this great work ! My phone looks awesome. Hopefully in the not so distant future I can reciprocate with some(Simple) WM applications. So far I have only done a flashlight app using the screen.

How did you guys get the programs tab? I liked having that when I was using 2.1 but I am back to 2.0. Do I need to load 2.1 again to get it?

So I installed the cab, rebooted and I still get basic black (tried several times). I looked at the two png files in the Windows directory and they are, in fact, the new ones. So, any ideas what I might be missing?

Did you just install the top and bottom toolbars or did you install the whole thing? I never installed just the two toolbars by themselves but I am using v5 and it works and looks great, plus it already has the toolbars.

I just did the tool bars. I have the look I want for the rest which is somewhat different from the v5 cab. I was just hoping to add the toolbars.

OK, I figured it out. I had Classic blue selected as the Today theme. Changed it to vzw theme and all is good.

Holy mackeral Batman! I just installed this and it looks amazing. Couple it with the new ROM that Conflipper just put out and we have an almost perfect device. Now if I could only replace the music player in the tab to the one I use I think I would have perfection.

Would it be possible to update this with a diff clock. I tend to like the white clock since I can see it at a glance. If you can tell me where to edit the cab I can do this myself, so your cab stays pristine.

Edit: Ok a couple of things I am noticing after application of v6 cab:

1) The Wifi icon in the Comm tab is almost invisible when you are connected via cable to your PC and Activesync is active. If you disconnect the cable then the icon becomes more visible but not to the extent as the other icons.

2) Activesync connection is extremely slow. In the Sync Center on Windows 7 I see the device listed as Unspecified. If I disconnect and then connect again the device is listed properly.

Tried out your cab, and it looks great. I am using the V2 one. One small thing- when I install the fuzzy blue slider, it ends up not just installing that outline, but also the picture in the middle of the blue square. As a result, I end up having two images laid on top of eachother. They aren't perfectly aligned, so its kind of annoying. Any suggestion on how to get rid of the extra slider image?

Spetrillo- Haven't noticed that with the comm manager. Those were from Brent32. I just added them in. I will geive thema look and see what I can find. And for number 2; again not sure, I didn''t make that part either but I will look.

makryger- There actually two different images that are used on the tabs. One when it is not selected and one when it is. I have also noticed that they don't line up quit right. If I can find the selected images I will just remove them. Then the base image will show through. Problem should go away then. I will look into it today.
