Re: memory problem

Sometimes things get fragmented enough to cause this problem no matter what you do even using clean ram. just shut it off and turn it back on. That's just the nature of the beast.

Re: memory problem

gwes.exe has a memory leak and its memory usage just grows and grows. This is the main process for serving the UI components so you can't kill it. The only way to get it back down is to reboot. On my Imagio it uses 19 MB right after a boot but can easily grow to over 50 MB over the course of a day.

I've created a special "reboot" profile in SBSH PhoneWeaver that reboots my phone at 4 a.m. every day.

Speculation is that custom ROM's, when available, may be able to mitigate this problem.
