Red Calendar Icon:

Keith, this slider is by far the best I've seen thus far from anyone and I love the crispness of the slider icons. One thing I did notice though is that on one of your previous sliders, you had a red colored icon for the calender instead of the orange one that you use here. Any way you can create a variant of this slider that has the red calendar icon?

If it's as simple as just replace one of the image files in teh windows folder, let me know and send me the icon that you used and I can take care of it manually.

Thanks again. Can't wait to see your work on the sub-menus.

I think it is on my computer at home, I'll see if I can find it.

Here you go, just copy all three files in the zip to your windows folder.

Keith, I've been using this slider as well, and I do love it as-is, especially since it's the only one I've found that actually works with the "sub" screens like contacts and music and whatnot. It's great as-is.

That said, I thought it would be pretty cool to combine the icons you've got here (so nice and sharp!) with the transparent tab effect I've seen elsewhere. I have no idea if that translates to the "sub" screens, but I'm just throwing it out there as something I think would make it even cooler, especially with the removal of the lower curtain on the home screen. Again, just a thought, I'm extremely happy with and thankful for the original !!!

I am not sure what you are asking for.....give a picture or something of the "transparent tab effect" you are referring to. Do you mean you want the slider itself transparent also?

I'm hoping that someone can help with this minor problem. I've installed a few of the cabs that Keith supplied (Thank you Keith... super stuff!) and the last thing I did was a registry edit (my first) to change the dll called "MFLO_RSSI.dll". I added an exclamation point to it to disable the TV icon on the task bar. This also worked great.

Now to the minor problem. Somewhere along the line I lost the ability to have the communications manager show up when I click the top bar (battery icon, signal bars etc) This used to pop up when I got the phone but now doesn't. the only thing that pops up now is the windows connectivity box. Someone else mentioned in another thread having had this problem but never got an answer.

As I said, it's a minor thing but I'd like to have the capability back. Thanks in advance for any insight you can give.

Revamped, that was me. and I think you did what I did. Remember when you first joined and we were doing the "calander Snooze" thing. Once I installed the new ROM i lost my HTC task screen also. I don't know if you ever installed that cab for the snooze i gave you (because you were trying to fix that another way), but if you did you have to remove it and that screen will come back. the cab(or fix) was called "Topaz Notification Manager". Even if you didn't use that cab, whatever you used for the snooze is probably causing the same problem. I just started uninstalling cabs until it came back. and that was the culprit. Once gone that screen comes back. But we do lose the snooze option again....
