Customizing the imagio
 

How much tweaking can be done with this device now? I'm torn between the samsung and the imagio and the touch pro 2 (though it has fewer differences from the first gen touch pro)

Samsung what? Omnia II?

The Touch Pro 2 is unlocked, meaning you can flash custom roms. But unless you really need the physical keyboard i wouldn't go with it, b/c we will be unlocked here very soon.

Omnia II is not bad if you install SPB Mobile Shell, but we have the best thing about the Omnia II here, SWYPE!!
I also do not think the Omnia II is unlocked(don't quote me)

There are a TON of customizations on this forum if you look at the stickied threads at the top of the forum you will see what people have done.
Not to mention almost any customization that can be done to WM 6.5 we can do on ours with registry tweaks and what not.

I would say to go with this Imagio but I guess I am partial. But this is just my .02 FWIW

I am running over 17 different tweaks to my Imagio:
Color and apperance of Icons on all pages
Diffenent clocks
Speed
Memory usage
wallpaper tweaks
WI Fi Programs
Music recognition
and way more.

ALso look on this website, Windows Phone web site or Handango (or others) for many many applications to be dowloaded.

So yes, very customizable. Once unlocked, we will unleash the power of this phone.

What music recognition software are you using on the imagio? Is it a cab file?

I use QM Midomi. It works pretty well. Software has no bugs, but it isn't always accurate. I believe it came from the Windows Phone site.

For some reason, I am unable to upload the file right now or I would give it to you.

I use Shazam and it works great! It is limited in the free version but I haven't stumped it yet.
