Dumb question...
Here's the thing. I don't want to pay for any more charges than I absolutely have to pay for. My carrier is the one that starts with a V here in the USA. I bought some software that allows me to use my phone as a modem with a USB cable. Setting it up on my laptop, I may have done something wrong.
When I want to connect, I always get that popup dialup screen that has the #555 (add 2 to each one of the those 3 numbers) - popup screen is on my laptop. I've searched the forum for any threads that mention the #555 plus 222 and don't see any mentioning my specific question. Does the carrier know that I'm using my phone as a tethered modem when I have to dial up using those numbers? |
Re: Dumb question...
Search for the program IntShrUI.exe on your phone. Use that program to connect to the internet via USB. See this post: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...t=intshrui.exe
Or use the Wifi version, see post #6 at this link: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...highlight=wifi |
