Imagio wATT and no data
 

Some app seems to keep wanting to get out and is triggering the connection attempt. I am having to dismiss the warning constantly. I see there is a way to delete/replace a dummy over the Verizon app, which reinstalls the network even after I delete it. But if I delete it will I still get warnings of failed network? How can I tell what is triggering this attempt to modem out?

From one of my previous posts: "i stumbled upon HKLM>Services>CMGauridan DLL -- i changed the value to !CM_Guardian_Service.dll -- Now after softreset the VZW connection no longer restores itself and I am able to leave my MEdia Net data connection as the default for now." changing this value will allow you to delete your VZW data connection and keep it from restoring itself. You dont have to replace the VZW connection. Just edit value, soft reset, delete VZW data connection, soft reset to confirm it is dead for good. Hope this helps! Good Luck!

No. The only way to get your phone unlocked is to call Verizon global support and ask for it. The fix described above only eliminates the issue in which Verizon's data connection perpetually recreates itself.

how do you find the file to fix CM_guardian dll? where do you go to in imagio??

it's in the registry. you're changing a reference to the filename. use a program like total commander that has a registry editor built in.
