Imagio video playback issue?

So I'm using HTC Album to playback mp4's and I've come across an annoying issue. If i bring up the video controls, they keep popping up randomly. See the attached video. It's the mp4 I recorded of the problem I'm seeing.

I'm playing a h.264 mp4 encoded to 480x272(for iphone compatibility). Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any solutions? Thanks. :)

Everyone else has this problem there is just no fix. Use windows media player. Takes a little longer to load but uses less resources and no annoying pop ups. Custom ROM's will get rid of this issue.

The two custom roms I've tried have this same issue. If I play the video and never pull up the controls it doesn't do it, but as soon as I pull the controls up, they keep popping up till I stop the video.:(

most of the custom roms include TCPMP; you can also get a hold of the upgraded pay version of that program called Coreplayer.
