Titanium edits and 4 column start menu???
 

Am I the only person that is having trouble with several of the different titanium plug ins not working, and not getting the 4 column start menu to work on the imagio? I cam from a diamond running calcu's rom with titanium, and I'ce gathered all the plugin cabs, and several don't work, they show up in chrome editor, but not on the actual user interface. When I installed the 4 column start menu cab, nothing changed. Is this just me?

Ok I feel totally inept, I tried that cab and it didn't do anything. Is there a reg edit or something that goes with that?

None of those work on the Imagio for some reason.

try this one im using both the ones i posted one of the them is if you have a programs tab in tf3d that makes it 4 colums the other is a start menu that makes it 4 colomns but even if i dont use tf3d i still have 4 coloms start menu edit when u click the start icon what do you see is it honeycomb or manilla also make sure u uninstall all other cab youve tried

I'm trying to get the non-manilla, or honeycomb, start menu to be four columns, I will try this cab and post back.

OMG, I've been trying to find that for a week now, thank you so much. You wouldn't happen to have a working opera panel for titanium for the imagio would you?

Maxtee, I installed your two cabs the other day (worked good). BUT was reading a post today about the battery settings and went to see what they were talking about. while doing that I noticed that the writting and pictures(Icons, meters, etc) were skewed. I could see a little of the next tab screen on the first tab (and so on). so i decided to uninstall those 2 cabs. Now when you go to the programs tab and leave, on the bottom it reads "All Aplications & Remove" no matter where i go. Even on the home screen. i had to reinstall both of those applications to get this to stop. Do you know if there is something special i have to do to uninstall those two cabs. I'm a weirdo and don't like anything skewed.

I know it's hard to understand the way I'm saying it. So, go to "Settings"-"All Settings"-"System"-"Power". you will see the "skewed" things i'm talking about when you choose the different tabs on the bottom(Battery-Backlight-Advanced-information)

The "Application & Remove" thing is when i slide the slider to my Programs tab and then slide to anything else, the bottom two choices of Application & Remove stay. No matter where i go (e-mail-weather-stocks-etc).

try to reinstall them sontimes when you reinstall them they uninstall by themself and just for the record there not my cabs i just happen to pass them along

I know there not yours. I called them "yours" so you would know which ones I was talking about. Trust me, you have done nothing but make my phone 20 times better. And you wern't talking to me when you gave those cabs out. I did it on my own (i love everything you do and copy it).....

But my probelm is when I UN-INSTALL those two Cabs and try to get my phone back to Non-4 colums Programs and start. Thats the weird part. I uninstall and the bottom two choices "programs & remove" stay. When i go back and reinstall those two cabs it works normal again but has that skewed thing i told you about.

so something to do with uninstalling those does something to the imagio. The setting that get skewed isn't that bad to live with. I just didn't know if you knew a trick about uninstalling them properly. (like do they need to be uninstalled in order or something???/does a reg edit need to be done after ununstall????). Just asking. If you don't know than no big deal.....I like the 4 colums so much that I think i would rather live with it than without it. thanks as always !!!!!!!!!!!!!! and keep teaching me your tricks.....(even though their not always yours per say):thumbleft:

i had that problem that your talking about and what i did was just reinstall it and they uninstalled then i installed them again and the problem was fixed also as to the pics and icons being scewed i just noticed that now after you mentioned it so dont know anything about that sorry

can anyone recap the EXACT 4-column titanium (not touch flo) "start" menu cab? i have tried several from XDA & here and all remain at 3-columns even after restart/reset.

all help appreciated as i'm done with touch flo (too much RAM use and too slow). TIA.

I want to do the same thing, I want 4 column insted of 3, I've tried the cab file and it works fine, but would like to find out how to do it with editing the registry? Are any files needed to do this or is it just changing a few things in the registry?

I only want the Start Menu to have 4 colums and dont want to change the All Programs menu. But if the All Programs Menu had a black backgrond it would look cool...

I've tired it looks good, but want to know how to do it with registry edits rather then installing cabs...???

I believe that cab edits the registry. I saw the actual settings somewhere either in these forums or in the XDA ones if you want to know the exact registry settings modified by the cab. Someone was playing around to see if they can get 5 columns but wasn't sure if it was going to scale properly and also the performance factor was a concern.

Would anybody have a link to regedit to get 4 collums, and I only want 4 collums, I'm sure it wouldnt afact the performance on my Imagio...=D>
