Remove Tabs on the bottom bar
Is there a registry setting somewhere that would allow me to remove the Email icon on the bottom slider bar?
OK, this is a fun "smilie"! :violent2: |
Re: Remove the Email Tab on the bottom bar
In the registry go to HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\manila\Configuration\3\
Change Enable value to 0. Toggle TouchFLO off then back on in the Settings -> Today options.. |
Re: Remove the Email Tab on the bottom bar

Re: Remove the Email Tab on the bottom bar
Oh I bet it's based on your tab order then. You probably moved them around. Good to know. Bottom line is whichever number has email.page in the PageName Key.

Re: Remove the Email Tab on the bottom bar
Hey fwaits, I don't have #11 'My Shortcuts' on my tabs slider. I have 1-10, but not #11. How can I get that to show on my screen? Thanks for all your efforts.

Re: Remove the Email Tab on the bottom bar
Even better, there are keys under HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila that control whether there are check boxes to turn off all the tab buttons.
Manila://people.page.non_check Manila://messaging.page.non_check Manila://email.page.non_check Setting these key values to 0 displays the check box in the Customize Tabs on the Settings tab, so that you can turn them on or off from the Customize Tabs function. |
