Quick Questions

How does pandora work for you? Seems like the widget isnt very responsive and freezes a lot....anyone else experience this?

Also, can someone recommend a good task manager....their are like 3 apps all named "Task Manager" and a slew of other ones to pick from....so which one should I get?

Does your GPS get a good lock on your location, or does it seem to be off by several hundred feet?

No comment on pandora - I don't use it.

I don't have a task manager as it is not really necessary on the android platform. I use a program called "Close Everything" if i know i need to reset and app I just go into it and click the button and reload said malfunctioning app or what not.

My GPS works great - Depends on day/cloud cover/environment. Indoor use is usually bad. I have my cellular positioning off as that is only accurate within 100 feet.

My GPS works great all of a sudden (I have a thread asking about GPS performance in this forum). Gets a lock quickly, and is accurate. Even works indoors now (wood framed structure). Under Settings/Location, I have all three options checked. Not sure if that will help you, or not.

I used to have Pandora, but I started getting Force Close messages, so I stopped using it. I'll download it again, and see if it works.

Just to throw in my 2 cents about the GPS...

GPS itself is physically incapable of working indoors. It will not work without a clear view of the sky. As was mentioned already if you are getting a lock that is only within a few hundred feet of you then it is finding you either through triangulation of the cell towers / wifi or through the sprint network.

You can turn on/off what ways you want it to locate you in Settings < Location.

If you only want the most accurate location then turn them all off except GPS, but it will only work when you have a totally clear view of the sky. But if you want it to be as fast as possible and work pretty much anywhere then leave the other ones on.

Pandora works like a charm for me. I have it set to high quality mode and the streaming .aac's have never skipped a beat since day one. Have you ever updated your data profile? I've used different roms all with Pandora installed.

The new update to Pandora fixed those issues. I use it all day.

flipz, I will be giving you props tonight haha. But I have to disagree with this, I get locks inside all the time with the blinds shut. Inside a house that is with no upstairs, but my gps has me sitting right where my house should be on Waze.

GPS works fine indoors on many devices I've owned, Hero, TP, TomTom, Vogue, and the Pre......well maybe not the Pre......didn't even work outside ha ha!
