IDK if I want to go back to stock messaging now
 

I was waiting for the update so I could go back to stock in hopes of a faster more stable experience but handcent has been really smooth lately and now I've gotten used to its features stock just seems bland. Handcent's only problem for me is the mms quirks but even that's compensated for by the ability to save (and view all mms from contact) by hitting menu (i haven't figured out how to save mms pics in stock if its possible).

Are there any advantages to stock over handcent (or chomp) at this point in your opinions?

You guys reverting to stock or keeping your 3rd party app of choice?

I used stock for a few messages and then went back to handcent. :mrgreen:

I have been playing with the Stock messaging and its not bad. The only quirk is when resizing pics they cant be over 1000KB. But it shows ti can transfer audio and other mms. as for saving all you need to do is long press on the screen or track ball and it gives you options

I preferred the look and feel of the stock messaging app. Handcent was a place holder, until the stock app would allow the phone to go to sleep.

Handcent is sweet. But handcent is Laggy. I got soo tired of waiting for handcent to respond. Stock is much better in that aspect so I am switching to Stock.

I'm useing the handcent, I havent even looked at the stock app since...... I might try chomp but I'm hapy with handcent

The only reason I'd stick with Handcent is because of the unread sms reminders.

Maybe ill test stock out for a day before deciding.
