keeps on getting stuck on HTC screen
 

I had to unboot and boot Modaco. now when i'm trying to load the ROMs, they get stuck on the HTC load up screen. what should i do?

Are you trying to load your back up rom? If it won't load you may have to flash the stock Sprint RUU its around here somewhere. I will get a link to it in my Tips thread soon.

thanks countyman, but i figured out that it wasn't getting stuck. it was just taking too long to upload the ROMs that i wanted to load. but it loaded after waiting little bit more.

Haha anytime. It takes a few seconds to boot post-flash. But will speed up after that.

damn it. i thought it just took a little time, but now it's taking forever. what am i doing wrong. when i was rooting, i followed the direction that thatcounty posted on his sig...

You did make sure you were root by using a picme or wifi tether app right?

If yes, what does your recovery screen look like?

May need to reflash stock ruu and try again.

and i wouldn't even know how to root it with those anyways...

it just kept on getting stuck on the HTC screen forever so i just kept on using the recovery to go back and try to load the ROMs... and i finally did it this afternoon...after trying it for 3 hours...

Ok, custom roms are getting you stuck? Your nandroid backup works fine and you can get to the HTC Screen with the green writing (recovery image). Sounds like you may need to redownload the rom maybe you got the wrong thing. You have to start with the "Core" then you can add others.
