screen saver for hero
 

just got my hero from telus today, just wondering that the phone didnt come with a screen saver!!! does the phone need one or what. im a noob with the hero so pls help dont wanna scratch the screen if you know what i mean

are you talking about a screen protector? the plastic cover for the screen of the Hero? there are tons out there on BB and on ebay.

yes screen saver does the hero need one? ifit does im pissed at telus not adding one

i think all the touch phones needs a screen protector. even a little dirt can scratch the screen, so get one.

I have put them on mine. But for what its worth, my hero went 3 weeks without one, and not a single flaw.

Always seemed to me that the hero might be a special type of smudge free glass or something. Just slipping the phone into and out of my pocket removed all the fingerprints and smudges. Maybe it was my imagination.

Its a glass screen. not plastic like a resistive screen (Touch pro, diamond, 95% of other touchscreen phone except for android and iphone's) so it is much more scratch proof. Thats said, i have seen some 5 year old iPods that are F***ED UP with scratches. Basically, if you plan on being hard on your phone, get one.
