Sprint HTC Hero On Verizon?
 

So I desperately want the Hero. I have Verizon and I have heard of Sprint users putting there phones onto Verizon. I have found multiple sources that this is possible. But nothing about it happening with the Hero because it is fairly new. So my main question is/are...

1) Will The Sprint HTC Hero work on Verizon.

2) Does it have to be unlocked/can it be unlocked.

well you will be getting verizon's version of hero on Nov 6. It's called Eris so no need to buy your self "unlocked" anything. Also Motorola's Droid is coming out at the same time as well so check them out and let us know how you like them.

However the Eris follows VZW tradition uglier name and design lol.... Nice price point tho 99 bucks! And sounds like the wont be crippling it like the TP and other devices in the past.

I actually think the Verizon version looks better without the metal plate at the bottom, but thats gonna be different from person to person. You'd probably be better off getting the Droid or the up and coming Passion if you dont want to stick with the tiny screens, those are sooooo 2009 :p

I am definitely looking forward to the passion but I have no faith in it being everything people are saying. I want proof and or a solid release date.

two ways for this to happen!!! wait until officall verizon verison drops!! or if u dont have a problem with the moral gray area of life(clone the device)

why not get a Droid Eris?? its the Verizon version of the HTC Hero

although, the Sprint version looks waaaay better
